Live NOW

Most of us miss the point in living? We either live in the past and ruminate over things we cannot change or project ourselves in the future ruminating about things that is likely to happen - most of the time these thoughts make us feel miserable, inadequate and unhappy.

We miss living our lives because the only time we have is this moment - Now. There is no guarantee of any other time. The past is there, we cannot go back and erase what has been done but we can decide what to do now.   When we are living in the moment we can live our passion. I can be present with those I meet and live that moment. When we live in the moment there is energy. We can change our circumstance by deciding what to do moment by moment.

Being mindful helps to connect with what is now. A tip:  focus on your breath, feel the cool air going in through your nostrils and gently, smoothly release it through your mouth. Do that a few times and feel great. Sometimes in our busy-ness living over yesterday's lives we forget to breathe.  Take a few more deep breaths and slowly release it through your mouth. Focus on your breath. Be present with that.
