Raising money for cancer while spreading positive thoughts

Free Press columnist Lindor Reynolds, who is on a medical leave while she battles brain cancer, wanted to do something to raise awareness -- and a little bit of money -- for cancer research in the province. While talking to her daughter Kate's partner, Alex McPhaden, who operates a small T-shirt company called Big Flaming Pile, a light bulb went off. Together, they came up with a T-shirt design that says, "There are only good days and great days -- Team Lindor," all written in typewriter font. “'We're grateful for every dollar we receive. It helps provide critical services and programs and makes such a difference to patients and their families' -- CancerCare Manitoba's Annitta Stenning (Reynolds has been using a computer for many years, but she remembers the days of typewriter ribbons and Wite-Out.) http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/local/t-shirts-spread-positive-thoughts-220776841.html P.s. I wish people would not turn their bodies into a battle ground with cancer. If everything is energy and we are energy what kind of energy does thoughts of battle engender? What we put out is what we get back. If there is a battle against cancer, you will lose that battle says Dr. Wayne Dyer, he said to instead love your cancer, ask it to co-exist with you or give it permisssion to leave with love. I am sending warm violent energy of love to Ms Reynolds right now.
