Raising money for cancer while spreading positive thoughts

Free Press columnist Lindor Reynolds, who is on a medical leave while she battles brain cancer, wanted to do something to raise awareness -- and a little bit of money -- for cancer research in the province. While talking to her daughter Kate's partner, Alex McPhaden, who operates a small T-shirt company called Big Flaming Pile, a light bulb went off. Together, they came up with a T-shirt design that says, "There are only good days and great days -- Team Lindor," all written in typewriter font. “'We're grateful for every dollar we receive. I wish people would not turn their bodies into a battle ground with cancer. If everything is energy and we are energy what kind of energy does thoughts of battle engender?
