Persistence pays off

How many of us give up the first time our plans did not pan out especially if we lose a few dollars. If you want to be successful you have to develop the mindset of successful people. Successful people do not give up and do not see failure as a bad thing but as an opportunity to learn and try something different.  Successful people would speak in terms  like "I encountered a little bump on the road - nothing that can't be fixed" instead of saying "just my luck" "total failure" "I guess that was not meant to be" - this is how people who do not live up to their potential frame things. Every failure is an opportunity to learn. When you awfulize a situation more awful things are likely to occur.
Develop a success mindset and see a rainbow behind every cloud.

If the first plan which you adopt does not work successfully, replace it with a new plan; if this new plan fails to work, replace it in turn with still another, and so on, until you find a plan which does work. Right here is the point at which the majority of men meet with failure, because of their lack of persistence in creating new plans to take the place of those which fail.” ~ Napoleon Hill from Think and Grow Rich

I highly recommend you get a copy of this book and read it if you want to want to get tips on how to succeed in life.  Napoleon Hill is one of the fathers of human potential movement.
